- be structuring, modelling, executing innovative complex payoffs and solutions products to our client base, and in doing so navigating a transaction through the entire lifecycle from idea generation, modelling, marketing, pricing, drafting legal docs, obtaining internal buy-in where required and to final execution.
- develop a deep understanding of the various economic, legal, regulatory, capital, tax and accounting considerations which underpin the product requirements of our clients.
- foster a strong relationship with trading, sales, quants, legal and tax partners to assess opportunities and develop innovative payoffs.
- service clients with bespoke analysis and simulations, lead conversations both internal and external to educate and pitch various trade ideas.
- break down and understand complex client problems and develop client pitches, with a particular focus on articulating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- use strong coding and quantitative skills to build and enhance internal tools and processes.

Your team
You'll work within the Structuring team in New York. Our role is to develop and execute innovative transactions which solve problems for clients globally. This role combines both quantitative and qualitative skills. Americas Solutions Structuring team is an entrepreneurial, cross-asset structuring team that spans across the coverage of both retail and institutional clients. The successful structurer will develop a wide understanding of asset-classes, our clients and the ways we can help them to achieve their goals. Working in the Global Markets structure presents a unique opportunity to develop deep technical skills across equities, rates, credit, FX and commodity derivatives
Your expertise
- Bachelor's or Master�??s degree in a quantitative discipline.
- In depth knowledge of and prior experience in derivatives and working with structured products (in any asset class) from a sell-side institution in a structuring capacity.
- Proven track record of growing businesses with a commercial mindset
- Proficiency in programming languages, python preferred.
- Versatility is key as you will be required to work across a number of disciplines: product development, pitching/marketing, pricing, transaction execution, modelling and automation, legal analysis and documentation.

Salary information
CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $275,000 to $312,500 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
